Kawardha. A case of mob lynching has come to light from Kabirdham district. A person named Dharamsingh Dhurve has died in mob lynching in Damgarh village of Kukdoor police station area. Police took action in the case and arrested 10 accused including a woman. It is being told that the deceased Dharam Singh had come to Damgarh village to search for cattle. During this, many youths caught him, tied him with a rope and beat him. Not only this, the accused kept beating him throughout the night. In this case, the victim has alleged that the accused were demanding a ransom of Rs 50,000 for the release of the victim, but due to not paying the ransom amount, he was murdered. Whereas from the accused side it is being said that the young man had molested a woman of the village. Because of which he was beaten. In which he died.
The accused had beaten the young man because of molestation. Apart from this, the accused had demanded a ransom of Rs 50 thousand from the family members of the victim youth. When the ransom money was not received, he was tied to a tree and beaten. He was repeatedly attacked with sticks, due to which he died. According to the information received, on April 15, the deceased Dharam Singh had come from Rali village to Damgarh village to search for cattle. During this time, people accused him of molesting a woman and beat him up. He was chased, beaten and then tied to a tree with a rope and hanged overnight. He died on Tuesday morning after severe beating and torture. Police have arrested 10 accused in this case. In which one man and one woman are accused. The accused have confessed to their crime during police interrogation. The accused told the police that Dharam Singh had come to their village and was molesting the woman in the village. After which an incident of fighting took place with him.
