New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday interacted with the beneficiaries of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra through video conferencing.
Thousands of beneficiaries of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra from across the country participated in this program. Union Ministers, MPs, MLAs and local level representatives were also present in the programme.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, PM Modi said that the campaign launched to achieve saturation of the Centre’s flagship schemes has reached lakhs of villages.
“Vikit Bharat Yatra is reaching far-flung places and connecting people. I would like to thank the people of the country, especially the women, for making this program a huge success. Vikas Bharat Yatra started about 50 days ago, but it has reached millions of people till now.” Of villages,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that after the start of Vikas Bharat Yatra, 4.5 lakh new applications have been received for Ujjwala gas connection. He said, “More than one crore Ayushman cards have been distributed to the people of the country. Health check-up of about 1.25 crore people has been done.”
On the Ayushman Bharat Swasthya Khata card, a unique identifier for a citizen in the health ecosystem, PM Modi said, “ABHA cards are also being made rapidly. People are not aware about ABHA card. This card will keep records.” Medical reports, medicine prescriptions, blood group information and other details.”
Since its launch on November 15, the Prime Minister has regularly interacted with the beneficiaries of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra across the country.
This conversation took place thrice – on 30 November, 9 December and 16 December – through video conferencing.
Additionally, the Prime Minister, during his recent visit to Varanasi, has physically interacted with the beneficiaries of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra on two consecutive days, 17-18 December.
Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being launched across the country with the aim of achieving saturation of the flagship schemes of the Government to ensure that the benefits of these schemes reach all the targeted beneficiaries in a time bound manner.
