Mumbai: Actor Vijay Deverakonda has shared a glimpse of his life, saying he’s been busy shooting two demanding films simultaneously, which he considers a first in his career.
Vijay shared on Instagram that while work may have taken over his days, he’s still been able to enjoy some personal pleasures, including buying new gadgets and adding a vintage Rolex to his collection.
He introduced his “spiritual, handsome boy,” Storm, and said that no matter how hectic the schedule gets, he never skips puja or training.
Vijay wrote: “It’s been a while… For the first time in my life, I’m shooting two films simultaneously… Both are very demanding, they’ve taken over my life… But here are some things in my life lately: I’ve bought some new tech that I’m enjoying, my current favorite watch – a beautiful vintage Rolex, my spiritual handsome boy Storm… I won’t miss any puja, training to always be battle-ready, my passion for making cool clothes – I’m leaving this uniform behind soon… (sic).”
Vijay was recently seen in Kingdom, a spy action thriller written and directed by Gautham Tinnanuri. It also stars Satyadev and Bhagyashree Borse. It is the first installment of a planned duology and features a troubled police officer who is assigned to go undercover on a case that brings him face to face with his old demons.
Vijay, who debuted in 2011 with Nuvvila, later appeared in films such as the coming-of-age drama Yevade Subramanyam. He rose to prominence as a leading film actor with roles in Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy, Mahanati, Geetha Govindam, and Taxiwaala.
In 2019, he launched his own production house, King of the Hill Entertainment, which produced Meeku Mathrame Cheptha and Pushpaka Vimanam. In addition to his film career, the actor has designed his own fashion brand and co-owns a volleyball team.
