Raj Bhavan has clarified the situation amid the ongoing discussions regarding the resignation of Professor Satyakam, Vice Chancellor of Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Prayagraj. Raj Bhavan has rejected the news of the Vice Chancellor resigning due to the displeasure of Governor Anandiben Patel. In the statement issued by Raj Bhavan, it has been said that Professor Satyakam was not able to discharge the responsibilities of his post in the expected manner, due to which he resigned.
Raj Bhavan clarified that in some media reports, the Governor’s displeasure was cited as the reason for the resignation of the Vice-Chancellor, but this fact is not correct. The statement said that many issues had come up at the administrative level regarding the functioning of the Vice Chancellor and the situation regarding them was considered.

In the statement issued by Raj Bhavan, it was said that it is misleading to link the resignation of Vice Chancellor Professor Satyakam with the displeasure of the Governor.
