Tirupati : As part of the ongoing annual Brahmotsavams here on Saturday, Sri Govindaraja Swamy took a ride on the Chinna Sesha Vahanam in the morning and Hamsa Vahanam in the evening, on the second day to bless the devotees.
The grand vahana procession led by elephants, chakka bhajans, Kolatam teams, Mangala Vaidyam was a cynosure for devotees. Thereafter the divine Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to utsava idols of Sri Govindarajaswami and His consorts Sri Devi and Bhudevi.
In the evening, the Lord in the form of Saraswathi, the Goddess of knowledge, mounted on Hamsa vahanam taken in a procession on the four Mada streets around the shrine.
Both the Tirumala pontiffs, Kankana Bhattar and Srinivasa Dikshitulu, Deputy EO Shanti, AEO Ravi Kumar and devotees were present.
