Vegetable prices increased in Raipur

Raipur. The effect of heat continues continuously in Chhattisgarh. People are troubled by the increasing temperature, meanwhile the prices of vegetables used for flavoring food have started skyrocketing. Tomato is the most used for flavoring, but suddenly its price has gone up to Rs 40 to 50 in bulk. Apart from this, the prices of ginger, chilli and garlic are also skyrocketing.

According to the vegetable vendors, usually at this time every year the prices of these four vegetables come down drastically. Sometimes there is a need to throw them away, but this time it is the other way around. The rains in March-April and now the heat in June are the main reasons behind this.

Chilli – Rs 40-50 a kg

Ginger – Rs 170-180 a kg

Garlic – 110 to 130 rupees kg
