Dehradun: Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave another gift to Uttarakhand. PM Modi on Tuesday launched Vande Bharat train from Dehradun to Lucknow through virtual medium.
Vande Bharat train was decorated with flowers at the railway station. Many LEDs were installed at the station for Prime Minister Modi’s address in the program.
During this period, ‘One Station, One Product’ program was also started. To make the first journey in Dehradun-Lucknow Vande Bharat train memorable, Railways had provided free tickets.
Railways flagged off Vande Bharat Express for the first time from platform number two at Dehradun station. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Governor retired Lieutenant General Gurmeet Singh, Chief Secretary Radha Raturi, Railway officials and other dignitaries were present at Dehradun railway station for the program.
