Uttara Kannada District Kannada Literary Conference: Logo Released

Karnataka: The logo release ceremony for the 25th Kannada Sahitya Sammelan of Uttara Kannada district, to be held in Dandeli on December 13, 14, and 15, was held in the Administrative Building auditorium on Tuesday.

Speaking after the logo release, Tehsildar Shailesh Parmanand said that this three-day Sammelan should be present in every home and every heart.

B.N. Vasare, President of the District Kannada Sahitya Parishad, said that preparations are in full swing and everyone is cooperating for the success of the Sammelan. He said that it should be recorded as a historic event.

Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer T.C. Hadimani and Municipal Council President Ashpak Shaikh said, “We are all fortunate to have the opportunity to host the 25th Annual Sahitya Sammelan Dandeli. Now our responsibility has increased further. Let us all cooperate for the success of the Sammelan.”

Present at the meeting were Taluk Unit President Narayan Nayak, Karnataka Sangha Vice President Rajesh Tiwari, General Secretary Kirti Gamvakar, Sirsi Urban Bank Director T.S. Bala Mani, Kalashree Organization President S. Prakash Shetty, KASAP Treasurer Shrimant Madari, office bearers Kalpana Patil, Suresh Kamath, Venkamma Nayak, Suresh Palanakar, former Konkani Academy President R.P. Nayak, Rotary Club President Ashutosh Kumar Raya, Sudhakar Shetty, and KASAP Life Members.

A logo showcasing the district’s pride: Designed by artist Mahesh Pattara, the logo depicts the district’s cultural, natural, and geographical beauty, including the sanctuary, the paper company, hornbills, tigers, the Kali River, rafting, the district’s glorious art, Yakshagana, and waterfalls.
