Uttar Pradesh: Four members of a family drowned while bathing in the Ghaghra river in Lakhimpur Kheri district on Monday. Deputy Commissioner of Police Pradeep said that five members of a family from Teliyar village in Padhuwa police station area went to take a bath in the Ghaghra river in the morning. He said that during this time they drowned due to going into deep water. He said that Sushila (52), Satyam (24), Urvashi (17) and Kanha (10) died in this incident. A woman named Naini was taken out of the river and she has been admitted to the district hospital in critical condition. Pradeep said that the police has registered a case and started necessary action.
