US sea imports from China drop sharply

Business Business: In May, the biggest decline of 28.5% was recorded in sea imports from China to the US compared to last year. Total sea imports fell by 7.2% to 2.18 million TEU in May. Imports from China at west coast ports have particularly fallen sharply. Imports of furniture, plastic products, machinery, toys and sports goods have been affected.
