UP News: Clerk suspended for allotting duty to dead employee during Governor’s visit

Ballia: A state medical department employee has been suspended for allegedly delegating work to another employee during Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel’s visit to Ballia, officials said on Sunday. Medical Director Dr. Vijaypati Dwivedi said on Sunday that Secretary Brijesh Kumar, working in the office of the Medical Director in Ballia, has been suspended on Saturday and posted in the Additional Director’s office, Azamgarh. Dwivedi said Kumar made a serious mistake in handing over service to a fallen person during the Governor’s visit. He said that the staff also did not appoint anyone to taste the food served during the program. The CMO said that disciplinary action has been initiated against Kumar. Anandiben Patel visited Ballia on 26 November to attend the fifth convocation of Universidad Jannayak Chandrashekhar.
