Unknown person dies after being hit by train

Tanda Udmur: Chandigarh Colony FCI on Jalandhar-Pathankot railway route. Last night, a person died on the spot after being hit by a train near the gate. At present he has not been identified.

G.R.P. Police station in-charge Raminderjit Singh said that the person died after being hit by train number 12238 Begumpura Express. He was wearing blue jeans and a blue T-shirt. The police team has taken the body into custody and kept it in Dasuha mortuary for 72 hours. At present, no information has been received regarding the circumstances under which this person was hit by the train. Along with investigating the case, the police is also trying to identify the deceased.
