Raipur. Bharat Mata was seen walking with chains in her hands, clothes of prisoners, holding the tricolour in front. This scene is of the rally of B.Ed. trained assistant teachers. These teachers came out on the streets dressed as Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev. They marched on foot from Raipur’s bus stand to Tikrapara Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s statue. Then paid homage to Bhagat Singh on Martyrdom Day.
In fact, more than a thousand teachers participated in this rally. Whoever saw these teachers walking in a long queue on the road, stopped and kept watching. All these teachers have come out on the road so that the government gives them jobs.
Thousands of B.Ed. trained assistant teachers of the state are continuously protesting. But till now the government has not accepted their demands. They have done many demonstrations like gradual hunger strike, mass fast, torch procession and submitting memorandum. These teachers were dismissed after recruitment.
