Raigarh. A villager riding a bicycle died after being hit by a speeding trailer in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh on Tuesday evening. After the incident, angry people have created a blockade. The entire matter is of Kapitpathara police station area. According to the information received, at around 5 pm on Tuesday evening, Panchu Yadav (60), a resident of Samaruma, was going towards his home on a bicycle. Meanwhile, the trailer coming from Gharghoda caught the villager. The family members reached the spot along with the villagers and started blocking the body by keeping it on the road.
As soon as information about the traffic jam was received, Kapitpathra police station in-charge reached the spot with his team and is trying to convince the villagers. In this regard, Kapithara police station in-charge Trinath Tripathi said that the incident happened at 5 pm. After the incident, the trailer driver has fled leaving the vehicle on the spot. Police is looking for the accused. The accused will be caught soon. Let us tell you that the condition of Raigarh-Dharamjaigarh road has been dilapidated for the last several years. There is movement of heavy vehicles on this route 24 hours a day, due to which road accidents keep happening every day. Also, due to heavy vehicles, there is traffic jam due to which the pedestrians have to face problems.
