For this, the Prime Minister of the country has written a letter to the President of UAE and appealed for a loan.

For this, the loan will be discussed this week. And the decision will be finalized. According to the information, UAE has deposited three billion dollars in State Bank of Pakistan. Out of these three billion dollars, the maturity of one billion dollars will be completed on January 17 and the maturity of the other one billion dollars will be completed on January 23. For this reason, Pakistan hopes that it will soon get financial help from UAE.
Loan of two billion dollars was withdrawn
The Arab Emirates also withdrew a $2 billion loan given to Pakistan on 18 January 2023, on the request of then Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. Which was approved during the meeting with the President of the Emirates. Almost a year later, on January 5, 2024, $8.155 billion has now been lent in foreign currency. This value is $66 million less than $8.221 billion as of December 29, 2023. Then in the last few sessions, the reserves of the country’s central bank have exceeded one billion dollars.
