Bhilai. Supela Police has achieved great success in Durg. Police have arrested two robbers who targeted elderly and women. The police have recovered 20 mobiles, Activa vehicles from the accused, the cost of which has been estimated at Rs 5 lakh. Giving information, Supela police station in-charge Durgesh Sharma said that the incidents of loot were happening with the commuters for a few months. A team was formed regarding this and a close watch was kept on the accused.
On the basis of information and description of the informer, Jawahar Nagar IHSDP Colony Vaishali Nagar resident S. Sachin alias Zahar and Aditya Yadav alias Dumpy of Quarter No. 37/B Sangram Chowk Camp 1 were apprehended. On interrogating both the youths, they told the police that they accepted robbing mobiles from passers-by in Supela, Smriti Nagar, Vaishali Nagar, Mohan Nagar, Bhilai Bhatti.
20 mobiles, vehicles used in the incident have been seized from the accused. In this action TI Durgesh Kumar Sharma, Sub-Inspector Satish Sahu, Sauni Rajendra Deshmukh, Pradhan Santosh Sharma, Prakash Tiwari, Constable Avesh Siddki, Nitesh Pandey, Virendra Yadav, Durgesh Singh, Bhim Yadav, Niyaz Khan, Ashish, Shailesh Yadav, Junaid Siddki Adi has made an important contribution.
