Two Naxalite monuments of 20 feet each were demolished, search operation continues

Bijapur. In Bijapur, soldiers demolished the Naxalite memorial with JCB on Sunday. Here, from the new camp Dumaripalnar, the team of DRG Bijapur, Mahila Commando and Dantewada DRG had set out on an anti-Naxal operation. During the search here, the soldiers found two 20-20 feet high Naxalite monuments in Heroli village, which the joint team has demolished with JCB. At present, security forces are conducting a search operation in the area.

In Bijapur also on Friday, a joint team from Dumaripalnar camp of Gangalur police station area had demolished the Naxalite memorial. An approximately 30 feet high Naxalite monument was built by the Maoists in the Dumaripalnar forest, which has been demolished by the soldiers.

Yesterday, 3 Naxalites were killed in an encounter between security forces and Naxalites in the forest between Tumakpal and Dabba Kunna villages in the border area of Dantewada-Sukma area. Police have recovered the bodies of the three killed Naxalites. A huge quantity of arms and ammunition was also recovered from the incident site.
