Two more arrested in Rs 2.5 crore robbery case, caught with a country-made pistol

. Police has arrested two absconding accused in the daylight robbery case in a jewellery shop from Aurangabad, Bihar. Gold and silver jewellery worth Rs 70 lakh, one country-made pistol, 5 live cartridges have been recovered from the possession of the accused. Balrampur Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Banker Ramanlal has revealed the entire case. He told that on September 11, armed robbers carried out a robbery of Rs 2 crore 92 lakh at gunpoint in a jewellery shop in broad daylight. Balrampur police had registered a case and started searching for the accused. 6 accused were arrested from 5 different states Delhi, Jharkhand, Bihar and Punjab. Jewellery worth Rs 2 crore 40 lakh was seized from these accused.

In this incident, the main accused Sonu alias Anand Soni had also kept his girlfriend Anjani Ekka in the gang to dispose of the loot. His girlfriend used to sell the looted goods at different places. The police confiscated the gold jewellery from the girl and seized her bank account which has Rs 5 lakh 80 thousand. Two absconding accused involved in this incident have been arrested from Bihar. Gold and silver jewellery worth Rs 70 lakh, one country-made pistol and 5 live cartridges have been recovered from their possession.
