Karoli. Karauli Kotwali police has arrested two accused of stealing food grains packets from the agricultural produce market. Police are interrogating and searching for other accused. The police exposed the theft in the agricultural produce market within 10 days. Other incidents are also likely to be revealed during the interrogation of the accused. Head Constable Surendra Singh said that two accused of stealing 28 bags of millet from the new agricultural produce market have been arrested.
Accused Bhanwar Singh Meena (21), son of Rajaram Meena, resident of Rama Pura police station Kailadevi and Ramnivas alias Sonu (22), son of Lal Singh Meena, resident of Gurdah Kotri police station Langra have been arrested. Surendra Singh told that on January 14, Mahendra Kumar Gupta, son of Chamar Lal Gupta, resident of Vaishali, had lodged a report in the police station. It was told in the FIR that unknown thieves stole a total of 28 sacks of grain in the night from the shops of Goenka Trading Company, Rajendra Kumar Mahendra Kumar, Jagannath Trading Company and Mahendra Kumar Sonu Kumar located in New Agricultural Produce Market.
During this, all four also cut the wires of the CCTV camera. After registering the case, two teams were formed under the direction of police station officer Hemendra Chaudhary. CCTV footage of the incident site and surrounding areas was examined. Both the teams set out in search of the unknown thieves and the stolen goods. Suspicious people were searched on the basis of tower location. During this, searches were conducted at possible places of Mamchari, Thana Karauli, Sadar Karauli, Mandrayal, Langra, Kailadevi, Kudgaon, Gangapur City, Sarmathura.
After examining the tower location and CCTV footage, the suspects were interrogated. After ten days of hard work, on the basis of tower location and CCTV footage, accused Bhanwarsingh Meena resident of Shiv Colony Karauli and Ramniwas alias Sonu resident of village Kotri Gurdah were taken into custody and arrested after investigation. During interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing packets of millet from the shops of New Agricultural Produce Market on the intervening night of 12-13 January. Inquiries are going on regarding the recovery of goods from the accused and other associates. During this, ASI Omprakash, Head Constable Vijay Singh, Constable Veer Pratap, Pushpendra Singh Cyber Cell, Head Constable Surendra Singh, Dinesh Abhay Command Centre, Constable Bhagwan Singh, Hansraj etc. were involved.
