TVS Jupiter 110 2024: TVS Motor Company is reportedly planning to introduce the updated Jupiter 110 in the Indian market. The updated scooter has been spotted testing in Maharashtra. The updated TVS Jupiter 110 is expected to be sportier than the current-generation model. Let’s find out more about it.
Talking about the design, the most important update will likely be a new tail lamp. To enhance the visual appeal of the scooter,
TVS may opt for an LED setup. Apart from this, the company may also introduce new colour options for the updated TVS Jupiter 110. In terms of hardware, the scooter is expected to remain unchanged. Front telescopic forks and a monoshock unit at the rear will handle the suspension.
Features and Specifications
For braking, it will get drum brakes at the front and rear. The top-spec variant will likely get the option of disc brakes. The updated TVS Jupiter 110 will likely be powered by the existing 109.7cc air-cooled engine, which will produce a maximum power of 7.77 bhp and a maximum torque of 8.8 Nm. It is mated to a CVT automatic gearbox.
The current Jupiter 110 scooter features a USB charging port at the front, a semi-digital instrument cluster (available on the ZX variant) and TVS SmartXonnect technology that offers turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts and voice navigation.
Possible price and rivals
The current generation TVS Jupiter 110 has some design changes. In the Indian market, this scooter competes with the Honda Activa 6G. With the updated Jupiter 110, TVS can increase its market share in this highly competitive scooter segment.
The current Jupiter 110 has a starting price of Rs 73,340 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Given the design upgrades and new colour options, we expect the updated TVS Jupiter 110 scooter to be slightly more expensive than the current model.
