Dhamtari. The Rudri police has immediately arrested the accused who had stolen the Tullu pump installed in the field. Brijlal Kumar of village Kotabharri had given a written application in Rudri police station, in which he had gone to see his field near Kotamri Lift Irrigation village on 05.03.25 at around 09.30 AM, and when he reached there he saw that someone was removing the motor pump installed in the field and stealing it.
He told about this to Hirde Ram and Rajaram of the village who had gone there to take bath, then all three of them went to catch him, but on seeing them the thief started running away with the pump and hid the pump somewhere. The thief recognizes the thief, whose name is Deepak Netam, the report is crime case 05/2025 section 303 (2)3 (5) B.N.S. After registering a case and taking it into investigation, on the information of the informer, the police went to village Beltara and surrounded and caught accused Deepak Netam and recorded his memorandum statement in the presence of witnesses. The accused confessed his crime and told that he had hidden the stolen Tullu pump in the bushes under village Kotabhari Mahaneem and got it recovered. The stolen goods were recovered by accused Deepak Netam in the presence of witnesses. 1 piece old used Tullu pump of 01 HP Bindu Company worth about Rs. 6000/- was seized. Accused Deepak Netam has been duly arrested and sent on judicial remand after admitting his crime and finding sufficient evidence of the crime.
