TSRTC provides assistance to family of deceased conductor, gives check of Rs 40 lakh

Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has provided financial assistance to the family of Tandoor depot conductor Laxman, who tragically lost his life in a traffic accident. TSRTC Director General VC Sajjanar along with Union Bank officials handed over a check of Rs 40 lakh to the victim’s family members at the bus building. Laxman met with a fatal accident on June 22 while on his way to the School of Personal Capability Zonal for a training session in Hakimpet. Surprisingly, his super salary savings account with Union Bank of India proved to be a lifesaver for his family, as it provided individual accidental death insurance cover of Rs 40 lakh to the account holders. Laxman’s wife, Jyoti, and his son, Anil Kumar, appreciated the direction of TSRTC and Union Bank of India for their support. TSRCTC executive director, S Krishnakanth, financial advisor Vijaya Pushpa, CPM Usha Devi, UBI deputy director general, Venkateshwarlu, Rangareddy’s assistant, RM Raju, Tandoor DM Sumatha and others were also present at the bus building.
