There is going to be a tough competition between Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi in Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024. Voting will be held on November 20 in a single phase for all 288 seats in Maharashtra and counting will be done on October 23. The term of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly will end on November 26.
In this election, the three major parties of Maha Vikas Aghadi, Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) and NCP (Sharad Chandra Pawar) face the challenge of repeating the Lok Sabha election result. In Mahayuti, BJP, NCP and Shiv Sena (Shinde) will have to get at least 145 seats to save their government. Congress in Maha Vikas and BJP in Mahayuti are contesting the most seats.
