Mahasamund. “Dharti-Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan” dedicated to tribal welfare is being organized across the country from 15 to 30 June 2025. In this episode, “Awareness and Benefit Completion Camp” was organized in Gram Panchayat Pendravan of Pithora development block of Mahasamund district and Gram Panchayat Jamdarha of Basna development block. The objective of this campaign is to make the tribal communities aware of their constitutional rights, government schemes and welfare benefits and to effectively deliver these schemes to the grassroots level.
Active participation of villagers was seen in the camp, where services were provided by various departments in the presence of public representatives. 146 beneficiaries were benefited from various schemes in the Pendravan camp. In which Ayushman Bharat cards of 05 eligible people were made, so that they can now get free health facilities. 15 applications were received for ration card. Also, 34 persons submitted applications for caste certificate and 68 for residence certificate. At the same time, 02 farmers applied for PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Job cards of 02 workers and 01 beneficiary were selected and approved for old age pension and under PM Matritva Vandan Yojana, 02 pregnant women were registered and sickle cell screening and counseling of 17 people was done by the Health Department.
Similarly, 70 beneficiaries were benefited from various schemes in Jamdarha camp. These included Aadhar cards of 6 beneficiaries, ration cards of 8 beneficiaries, Ayushman card of one beneficiary, caste certificate of 21 people and residence certificate of 21 people. Similarly, job cards of two beneficiaries and 3 pregnant women were registered under PM Matritva Vandan Yojana. Sickle cell screening of 8 people was done by the Health Department. During the camp, not only documentary services were provided but the villagers were also informed about various schemes and guidance was also provided in the application process. Under this campaign being run by the government, such camps are being organized continuously to ensure that no eligible person is deprived of the schemes. The local administration, public representatives, Gram Panchayat and officers and employees of various departments played an active role in the successful organization of the camp.
It is worth noting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched the Dharti Aaba Janjati Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan on 02 October 2024. The concept of this campaign has been implemented by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India on the convergence model by combining 25 schemes of 17 partner ministries. Which includes housing, paved roads, holistic education, Jal Jeevan Mission, mobile medical unit, PM Jan Arogya Yojana, Anganwadi Center, electrification in unelectrified houses, solar light, LPG connection, nutrition garden, skill development, digital activity, fish farming, animal husbandry, home stay, Pradhan Mantri Adi Adarsh Gram, FRA. Along with management, Aadhar Card, Ayushman Card, Caste Certificate and Residence Certificate, KCC and other beneficiary schemes have been included. Beneficiaries deprived of all these schemes were linked to the schemes.
