Raipur. Training was given on Friday on the subject of self-registration of Public Information Officers and First Appellate Officers in the RTI portal at Mantralaya Bhawan and Head of Department Bhawan located in Naya Raipur. This training was given by Chhattisgarh State Information Commission and National Informatics Centre. In this training, the team of Secretary of State Information Commission R Churend, Deputy Secretary and Nodal Officer of General Administration Department Mary Khes, Under Secretary of State Information Commission Geeta Diwan, Section Officer Atul Verma, Ashok Maurya of NIC, public information officers and Gave guidance to the first appellate authorities.
In the training workshop, the process of self-registration in the online portal, disposal of applications after on-boarding and the process of uploading were explained in detail through demo. The doubts of Public Information Officers and First Appellate Officers were also resolved in the training. The first appellate authorities were informed about viewing the onboard application and its disposal. The process for demanding fees online was explained. In the training workshop, State Information Commission Secretary GR Surendra said that in compliance with the order of the Supreme Court and the instructions given by the state government, the work of self registration has to be completed in the month of December. He has advised the officers to be aware of the Right to Information rules and implement them well.
