Traffic rules were taught to the students

Dhamtari. With the aim of making school students aware of traffic rules, the traffic staff, under the leadership of the Deputy Superintendent of Police, organised a traffic school at Vande Mataram English School, Dhamtari, today on 17.10.24. In which Uni. Khemraj Sahu and the traffic staff gave information about traffic rules to the 200 students and teachers present by showing them banners, posters and pamphlets related to traffic awareness.

That one should always walk on the left side, walk one behind the other, should not travel in a group, should not carry three passengers on a two-wheeler, should not drive without helmet, should not drive without license, minor children should not drive, should not compete with friends at the speed of the vehicle, should never overtake unnecessarily and carelessly, etc. Along with making people aware about the traffic rules, they were also told to follow the traffic signals at the squares and intersections, that if the red light is on, stop behind the stop line, if the road is clear when the green light is on, then proceed ahead, if you are behind the stop line when the yellow light is on, then stop at the stop line, if you have crossed the stop line, then proceed ahead immediately.

Along with this, detailed information was given about the informative and indicative signs on the road and they were told to always follow the traffic rules and also motivate their family members to follow them.
