Raigarh. On 2nd July, Bhuvan Lal Jaiswal, who works as a security guard at JPL Power Plant Tamnar, filed a report in Tamnar police station regarding assault by Ramesh Patel of Hunkradipa. Reporter Bhuvan Lal said that on 2nd July, he was on duty in traffic control in B shift from 2 pm to 10 pm, Sonu Kumar was also on duty with him.
At around 9:00 pm, Ramesh Patel came home drunk and started abusing and breaking chairs. When stopped, he beat him and Sonu with a stick. On the report of the assault, a case was registered against accused Ramesh Kumar Chaudhary in Tamnar police station under crime number 177/2024, section 296, 351(2), 115(2), 324 (4) BNS and the injured were given a medical examination. The medical report mentions Sonu Kumar’s injury as fractured. Section 118(2) BNS was added to the case and the absconding accused, tractor mechanic Ramesh Chaudhary, who was absconding from the village, was traced and arrested today on the basis of informer’s information.
Accused Ramesh Kumar Chaudhary, father late Gajadhar Chaudhary, age 38 years, resident of Hunkradipa police station Tamnar, was produced in the court on judicial remand yesterday evening by Tamnar police. The accused has been sent to jail after a jail warrant was issued against him. Assistant Sub-Inspector Khemraj Patel, Head Constable Dev Prasad Rathia, Anoop Kujur and Constable Pushpendra Sidar played a special role in the investigation and arrest of the accused under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Tamnar Inspector Ashirwad Rahatgaonkar.
