Manali. Tourists danced amidst the snow falling in Solanganala, a tourist spot in the tourist city of Manali. The weather became pleasant again on Saturday afternoon. Tourists got excited after seeing snowflakes falling in Solanganala. Amidst the severe cold, tourists took selfies and even threw snow on each other when there was snow on the ground. There are three feet piles of snow in Solanganala due to snowfall in the past few days. Most of the tourists enjoyed the snow in Manali’s tourist spot Nehru Kund only, but the tourists who reached Solanganala in four by four vehicles saw clouds of snow. Tourists also had a lot of fun in the snow throughout the day in Nehru Kund.
Himachal Taxi Operator Union President Purna Thakur said that the snowfall in Manali has proved to be a lifeline for the tourist season of Manali.
This will give further impetus to the tourism business of Manali. Hotel Association President Mukesh Thakur said that snowfall in Manali in February is a good sign for the tourism business. Businessmen will benefit from this in the coming time. Snowfall started again in Lahaul Valley on Saturday. Due to which BRO has faced difficulty in removing snow from the roads. BRO continued the snow removal operation even amidst bad weather.
