Haridwar (IANS) | The life of a tourist who went to visit Uttarakhand from Delhi was saved. The car of a Delhi tourist parked in the parking lot in front of the shop became a ball of fire. The fire brigade which reached the information barely extinguished the fire of the burning car. The car of a tourist from Delhi was completely burnt in Haridwar’s Kankhal area.
By the time the fire department managed to control the fire, the fire had taken a formidable form. The incident took place near Hariram Arya Inter College. Sagar Sharma’s son Ramesh Chandra Sharma, resident of Rana Pratap Bagh, Delhi, had come here with his family. His car was parked outside Gangeshwar Amrit Kutir in the afternoon. The car caught fire in no time.
An atmosphere of chaos was created due to the fire. Passengers gathered. Here, Delhi’s family also came out after leaving the building. Passengers informed the fire department about the fire in the car. By the time firefighters reached the spot, the entire car was engulfed in flames.
Firefighters managed to control the fire. SO Nitesh Sharma told that prima facie the fire is believed to be due to short circuit. The whole car is burnt.
