Rohtak. Doctors of government hospitals, PHC, CHC and SDH in Haryana will be on strike today. During this period, OPD services will remain closed at all places. However, emergency services are said to be operating as normal.
About five thousand patients come to the OPD every day for treatment. Due to the strike, patients coming to OPD may face problems. Therefore people should go out for treatment with caution.
The bond amount in PG policy should be reduced from Rs 1 crore to Rs 50 lakh. Don’t mortgage anything for him. So that middle class doctors can serve the people after doing PG. To meet the shortage of specialist doctors, a specialist cadre should be created on the suggestion of the association.
Dynamic ACP should be made on the lines of Delhi and Bihar government. Direct SMO recruitment should be stopped, so that the medical officers who become SMO on their first promotion after about 20 years of service are not deprived of their franchise. So that doctors can come to HCMS and serve the people.
District President of Haryana Civil Medical Service Association (HCMS), Dr. Vishwajit Rathi said that Rohtak has one district hospital, eight CHCs and SDHs and 25 PHCs. Each PHC has an OPD of about 50 patients per day and a CHC or SDH has an OPD of about 250-300 patients.
More than 1500 patients reach the OPD of the district hospital every day. 150 doctors will be on strike under the banner of HCMS in the district on Wednesday. They are also warning that emergency rooms, delivery rooms and post-mortem rooms have not been closed yet. If demands are not met, all work will be stopped indefinitely from December.
