Rewari. In Haryana’s Rewari district, a man fired from his grandfather’s licensed revolver to avenge his slap. He fired two rounds, causing panic in the surrounding area. Sector-6 police station has registered an FIR against 4 people of another family on the complaint of the victim’s family. According to the information received, Brijesh Kumar, resident of village Garhi Maheshwari of town Dharuhera, works in a private bank. There was a dispute over some issue with a young man named Moni who lived in his neighbourhood.
It is alleged that during this dispute, Brijesh slapped Moni. After this, accused Moni went to his house and brought the licensed revolver of grandfather Atar Singh kept in the house and fired outside Brijesh’s house. Hearing the sound of the bullet, people nearby came out. After this the accused fled from the spot. Brijesh has lodged an FIR against Moni’s family members. According to the police, accused Moni’s grandfather Atar Singh had been the sarpanch of the village. After registering a case against the accused, they are being searched.
