Hyderabad: The ninth edition of the annual Hyderabad Music Festival (HTAMF), which commemorates Saint Tyagaraja, will be held at Shilparamam, Madhapur from January 24 to 28.
Organized by the city-based Fundación Culture, the five-day festival will feature performances by promising young artists, seasoned musicians and various groups from the artistic communities of the twin cities and across India.
The occasion includes a series of nightly concerts with promising musicians, a grand performance of Pancharatna Seva in the presence of hundreds of accomplished artistes and an Abhishekam ceremony in the honor of Sita, Rama, Lakshmana, Anjaneya and Tyagaraja Swami. There will also be Gurusammanam to pay tribute to great musicians, Culture Awards to recognize significant contributors to music and classical culture, an in-vivo painting by Nadaseeva and provision of Annaprasadam to over 1000 people during the five-day event. ,
