Mumbai: The much-awaited Allu Arjun starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ may have postponed its release to December 6, but the team of the film is leaving no stone unturned to deliver a spectacular cinematic experience. Currently, the filmmakers are busy preparing the action block for the high-voltage climax of the film.
On Monday, the makers shared an update on Instagram with a small glimpse from the film, which sees Allu Arjun in his thrilling avatar.
Giving more details about the shoot in the caption, they said, “Shoot update: #Pushpa2Darul is currently shooting for a spectacular action episode for the climax. #Pushpa2Darul will have a Grand worldwide release on 6th December 2024.”
Amid the growing anticipation for ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, this update has only added to the excitement. The massive action sequences are expected to make for a great theatrical experience.
Earlier reports indicated that the film was delayed due to post-production issues. Editor Karthika Srinivas left the project, and editing was taken over by Naveen Nooli, who is currently working on the final cut. Additionally, director Sukumar considered reshooting portions of the film to improve the VFX quality.
As soon as the release date of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ was pushed from August 15 to December 6, other films from Hindi and Telugu cinema booked the August 15 slot to take advantage of the festive release.
Films like ‘Stree 2’, ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Double iSmart’ are now set to release on August 15 coinciding with the Independence Day celebrations.
Meanwhile, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles.
The film will hit theatres almost three years after the release of its first part. (IANS)
