Three youths arrested, accused of attacking petrol pump supervisor

Balodabazar. Three youths called the supervisor of the petrol pump to the side along with their friends and beat him up. While revealing the whole matter, the police has told that the applicant Vinod Dubey, resident of village Thelki, filed a report that he works as a supervisor in Nandlal Fuel Petrol Pump Dhabadih. On 09.08.2025, at around 11:00 pm, the accused Ashish Baghel came with some of his friends and took him to the truck parked in front of the dhaba on the pretext of some work.

Thereafter, the accused abused the applicant by saying that you think you are smart when he came to fill petrol, threatened to kill him and beat him with hands, fists and belts etc. Due to the beating, both hands, back, legs etc. have been injured. On the report of this, crime number was registered in the police station City Kotwali. Case No. 756/2025 under sections 296, 351(2), 115(2), 118(2) 3(5) BNS was registered and investigation was taken up.

According to the police, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Bhavna Gupta, City Kotwali police took immediate action and detained 3 accused involved in the case. On interrogation, the accused admitted to threatening to kill and abusing the applicant and assaulting him with hands, fists, belts etc.
