Three arrested for tying and beating 12-year-old on railway track

PATNA: Three people arrested for tying a 12-year-old boy on the railway track and beating him up. The incident took place in Begusarai, Bihar. They beat up the boy for allegedly stealing goods from a nearby shop. After the video of the incident came out, the police registered a case against the accused. The 12-year-old was beaten up by Roshan Kumar, Jai Ram Chaudhary and Rahul Kumar on the tracks of Lakhminia railway station.
In the video that has surfaced, the boy is seen being beaten with a stick after being tied to the railway track. The police have registered a case for assaulting a minor. The child was rescued by the police and admitted to the hospital. The boy’s father told the media that the accused beat up his son on the basis of a crime he did not commit.A similar incident has also been reported in Begusarai. Four boys were tied up with a cloth and beaten up for allegedly stealing biscuit packets from a shop. The children were beaten up by people from Fazilpur village. A case was registered in the incident.
