Tamil Nadu: AMMK General Secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran expressed hope that those who left the AIADMK will reunite after Jayalalithaa returns to power in Tamil Nadu.
He told reporters in Madurai on Tuesday:
The DMK, which is in power in Tamil Nadu, should be removed. There is no policy alliance between the DMK and the Congress. The Congress is demanding that the DMK form a coalition government with 35 to 40 seats. Therefore, there is doubt whether the Congress will remain in the DMK-Congress alliance.
There is no confusion within the National Democratic Alliance. We will demand our seats from the AIADMK through the BJP. There is no change in this. As already announced, I am not contesting the assembly elections.
The AIADMK will win the upcoming assembly elections and form the government. Jayalalithaa’s supporters have joined the National Democratic Alliance to defeat the anti-people DMK. He said he hoped that if Jayalalithaa returned to power in Tamil Nadu, those who left the AIADMK would unite again.
