Under Jal Shakti Abhiyan, various departments have been directed to get the works related to water harvesting completed before the monsoon and uploaded on the portal of Jal Shakti Abhiyan.
Additional District Collector Vigilance Mr. Ummed Singh Ratnu sent letters to Zilla Parishad, all SDMs, BDOs, Superintendent Engineers of Drinking Water Department and all district level officials to complete the works related to water harvesting under Jal Shakti Abhiyan before monsoon. Have given He informed that under Jal Shakti Abhiyan, water conservation, rain water conservation, geo-tagging of water sources, updating of district water conservation action plan, strengthening Jal Shakti Kendra as per the draft framework issued by Government of India, intensive tree plantation, water harvesting. And creating awareness for collection, construction of water reuse and recharge structures and waste water treatment etc. should be done.
