Balodabazar. Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw today attended the inauguration of the social building of Sahu Samaj and the felicitation ceremony of talented students organized at the District Auditorium Balodabazar. Earlier, he inaugurated the newly constructed social building at the district headquarters Balodabazar by cutting the ribbon. On this occasion, talented students of the society were honored with a certificate.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Saw said that a very beautiful social building has been constructed by the Sahu Samaj. Our society will also have to be built like this beautiful building. Sahu Samaj is the largest in the state, its prestige has to be maintained. The society should move forward unitedly. There is a need to take our society forward with good values and thoughts. Describing the evils as a hindrance to development, he talked about removing it from the society. Appealing to be aware of the increasing use of mobile and internet at present and its ill effects, he said that today there is a mobile in every hand and people are busy in it.

We have to think about its ill-effects and encourage use of only good information. He told the students that along with their hard work, their parents and teachers also have an equal contribution in getting merit in the examination. He said that never let despondency and laziness come in life. Both of these are always obstacles in moving forward. Expressing concern over conversion, the Deputy Chief Minister said that people are getting ready to abandon the religious customs followed by their ancestors, which is a very serious matter. The society will have to think deeply about its reasons and unite the people.

On this occasion, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma announced to give Rs 16 lakh 50 thousand for various construction works on the demand of the society. Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister along with other public representatives also planted trees in the auditorium premises under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign.
