Harishchand Dubey, a resident of Bardebhata, had gone to Bhilai to drop his daughter. No one was present at home. When the maid came to the house in the morning, the lock of the door of the house was broken. He informed about this to the landlord. When the family members reached home, they saw that all the things were scattered in the house. Including gold and silver jewelery and Rs 70,000 cash kept in the almirah, a total of Rs 5 lakh items were missing. The victim’s family informed the police about the theft in the house. After getting the information, the police reached the spot and started the investigation. Police is taking the help of Dog Squad team and SFL team in the investigation. The police have expressed apprehension that the perpetrators of the theft are locals only. Police has started arresting the monitored thieves.
