UTTAR-PRADESH : An incident of theft has been reported from the Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh. Thieves targeted the vacant house of a family that had traveled to Hardoi. Unidentified thieves broke the lock, entered the premises, and made off with valuables. The theft came to light upon the family’s return, after which the police were informed.
Based on the complaint filed by the affected family, the police have registered a case against unidentified thieves and initiated an investigation.
Thieves Took Advantage of the Family’s Absence
According to reports, the homeowner had traveled to Hardoi with their family for some work. The thieves took advantage of the house being locked and unoccupied to carry out the crime.
They broke the lock, entered the house, and ransacked the rooms. Belongings were left in disarray, and valuables were stolen.
Theft Discovered Upon Return
When the family returned to Hapur, they found the lock broken. Upon entering, they discovered their belongings scattered everywhere. They subsequently reported the theft to the police.
