Raigarh. Yesterday afternoon, a missing report was lodged by the family members at Chakradharnagar police station after informing them that the minor girl had gone somewhere without informing since the afternoon of 16th March. Police station in-charge Chakradharnagar Inspector Prashant Rao Aher registered a crime under Section 363 IPC against an unknown accused, taking the matter seriously, summoned other family members and friends of the girl and started questioning in which Parmeshwar Sarathi alias Monu, resident of Jute Mill area. Information was received about the sighting of a girl with a person of 20 years. Immediately, Chakradharnagar police detained Parmeshwar Sarathi from Jutmill area and when interrogated, he told that he had taken the girl from his village on a scooty to his acquaintance’s house on the afternoon of 16th March. Immediately the girl was found by the police team and the girl’s statement was made to the lady officer and the court in which she told that Parmeshwar Sarathi alias Monu had lured her away from the village by luring her with marriage and establishing physical relations with her. In the case, the sections of Rape and POCSO Act have been extended and the accused has been arrested and sent on judicial remand.
