The world is eager to understand India’s economic policies

New Delhi New Delhi: Union Minister of Railways and Electronics & IT Ashwini Vaishnaw will attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2025 in Davos, it was announced on Sunday. According to the Ministry of Electronics and IT, his visit highlights India’s commitment to pursue inclusive growth and transformational development envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Before leaving for Davos, the minister said, “PM Modi has focused on inclusive growth that brings transformational change in the lives of people from the lowest strata of society.

From financial inclusion through bank accounts to providing essential services like toilets, gas connections, tap water and improving infrastructure in both rural and urban areas, this is something the world wants to understand.” The Union Minister informed that the World Economic Forum will have detailed discussions about inclusive growth, investment in social, physical and digital infrastructure and democratization of technology.

“The world is keen to understand India’s economic policies, the digital transformation brought about by the Digital India programme, and the way technology is being democratised to empower citizens from all sections of society,” the minister said. India’s participation at WEF 2025 aims to strengthen partnerships, attract investments and establish the country as a global leader in sustainable development and technological innovation. According to the ministry, India’s innovative digital architecture developed as part of the Digital India initiative has set a global standard for leveraging technology to advance inclusive growth, which is the main focus of discussions at the forum. The country is sending five Union ministers, three chief ministers and ministers from several other states to the WEF this time.
