Odisha | A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Odisha. Actually, a truck ran over the baratis who were dancing on the DJ. In which five people died, while 9 people were badly injured.

This accident happened in Keonjhar district of Odisha. It happened in Sathighar Sahi near National Highway-20 in the early hours of Wednesday. Here the daughter of Kartik Patra, a resident of Satighar Sahi, was getting married to Hemant, son of Hadibandhu Patra of Harichandanpur. The people of the girl’s side welcomed the baraatis with great fanfare. All the rituals of marriage were being completed happily. At night, the baraatis were dancing to the tunes of the DJ. The bridegroom was also dancing with them. At the same time, a painful accident took place at 1 to 1.30 pm, just a few meters away from the bride’s house. An uncontrolled truck ran over the baraatis dancing here. In this incident, five people lost their lives on the spot. And nine people were seriously injured. After this incident, mourning spread in the marriage house. There was an outcry.

Police reached the spot and took stock of the incident. The police took the injured to the hospital for treatment. The bodies were taken into possession and sent for investigation. The police is investigating the matter
