Raipur. Accused Dharam Singh alias Dharam has been arrested with illegal drug Heroine (Chitta). Kabir Nagar police station had received information that 01 person has illegally kept drug Heroine (Chitta) near Hirapur Tegna pond under Kabir Nagar police station area. He is looking for a customer to sell it.
On which Additional Superintendent of Police West Daulat Ram Porte and City Superintendent of Police Azad Chowk Aman Kumar Jha (IPS) directed the police station in-charge Kabir Nagar to verify the information and catch the accused red handed with the drug Heroine. On which, on the instructions of senior officers, the police team of Kabir Nagar police station under the leadership of Kabir Nagar police station in-charge Shri Deepesh Jaiswal went to the said place and identified and caught the person matching the description given by the informer. During interrogation, the said person told his name to be Dharam Singh alias Dharam resident of Veer Savarkar Nagar Hirapur Raipur.
On searching him, the team members found a packet wrapped in plastic foil hidden in his pant pocket. On being asked, he said that it was heroin (chitta). The team members arrested the accused Dharam Singh alias Dharam and seized 4.10 grams of heroin (chitta) worth Rs. 40,000 from his possession and registered a case against the accused under section 21 of the Narcotics Act under Kabir Nagar Police Station.
