The oath taking ceremony of the newly elected president and councillors of Kumhari Nagar Palika was completed under the chief hospitality of Deputy CM Arun Sao

Raipur. The oath taking ceremony of the newly elected president and councilors of Kumhari Municipality was held today under the chief hospitality of Deputy Chief Minister and Urban Administration and Development Minister Arun Saw. MLA Domanlal Korsevada also attended the oath taking ceremony. In a ceremony organized at the Government Primary School located at Bazaar Chowk in Kumhari, SDM Mahesh Rajput administered the oath to the newly elected president Meena Verma and councilors.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw congratulated the newly elected Municipal Council President and councilors and extended his best wishes. He expressed hope that this new team of the municipality will work actively to develop new facilities for the people of Kumhari as well as to make the city clean and beautiful. The state government will provide all possible support in this. After the oath taking of Municipal Council President Meena Verma, a total of 24 councilors took oath in groups of 6 each. Newly elected President Mrs. Meena Verma expressed gratitude to all the guests and the city residents. The newly elected public representatives resolved to work together for the development and prosperity of the city. Former Parliamentary Secretary Shri Siyaram Sahu along with other dignitaries and residents of the city were present in large numbers at the swearing-in ceremony.
