Badaun. Shivanshu Gautam (21), a youth missing since April 2, was murdered in Badaun. His body was recovered from Subhash Nagar area of Bareilly on Sunday. It is being told that Shivansh was having a love affair with a girl living in a village of Kadarchowk police station area. Before Shivanshu, that girl had a love affair with his friend Sunny Kashyap. Both Shivanshu and Sunny were close friends. They also used to visit each other’s houses.
Shivanshu Gautam was a resident of Nawada in Civil Lines police station area. He had left on April 2 saying he was going to a friend’s house. After this he was not found. His family had registered his missing complaint on the fifth. The family members were searching for him since his disappearance. The police was also busy searching.
Based on the call details, the police caught his girlfriend on Sunday morning. Two boys were also caught along with him. According to the police, during interrogation the girl herself confessed to killing Shivanshu. On his behest, the police reached Bareilly to recover the body. Here his dead body was found in a sack in the forest of Madhinath. The body has been sent for post-mortem.
Deceased’s brother Abhishek told that Shivansh used to run a grocery shop. He had gone on April 2 saying he was going to a friend’s house. Had left the house alone. The police informed the family about the discovery of his dead body. Alleged that the girl and her lover Sunny Kashyap murdered her and threw the body. Bareilly CO 2 Sandeep Singh said that the body of the youth has been recovered from the forest of Madhinath. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the murder was a love affair. The girlfriend and her boyfriend have committed the crime. Badaun police is interrogating the accused.
