Raipur. Collector Dr. On the instructions of Gaurav Singh, the last rites of three deceased due to Covid-19 were performed at Devendra Nagar Muktidham today. Consent of the relatives of the deceased was taken, then the last rites process was carried out. The last rites were performed following the guidelines of Covid-19. During this, teams from District Administration, Municipal Corporation, Mekahara and Police Department were present.

It is noteworthy that the bodies of three people who died of Covid-19 were kept in the sawmill of Mekahara. The district administration gathered information from the relatives of the deceased and took their consent and their last rites were performed.
