Korba: A horrific case of bloody incident has come to light in Korba district of Chhattisgarh. The husband killed his wife by slitting her throat with an arrow. After this, the accused himself committed suicide by hanging himself. The incident created a stir in the area. On receiving information about the case, the police reached the spot and started investigation by registering a case. The forensic team was also called for investigation.
This entire case is of Tengrimar village under Shyang police station. According to the information, Jagannath Manjhwar (37 years) lived with his family in a house in the village. Jagannath Manjhwar used to support his family by doing daily wage labour. Apart from his wife, a 12-year-old son and old mother Itwaro Bai also lived in his family. On Monday evening, a fight broke out between Jagannath and his wife over something. Seeing the dispute between the husband and wife increasing, Jagannath’s mother went out of the house with her grandson. After some time, when she came back and saw, she was shocked. The dead bodies of the son and daughter-in-law were lying in the house. After which the police was informed about the incident.
The police reached the spot and saw that the bodies of the husband and wife were lying in the same room. Initial investigation revealed that Jagannath took this horrific step due to a family dispute. The police have recovered blood-stained arrows and bows from the spot, due to which it is being speculated that Jagannath killed his wife with an arrow and then committed suicide by hanging himself. At present, the police is seriously investigating this matter.
