Khairagarh: The havoc of speed has been seen again in Khairagarh, Chhattisgarh. A 50-year-old man died on the spot in a horrific road accident on Amlipada Drug Road. After the accident, the truck driver fled with the vehicle. At the same time, the police has started investigating the matter.
According to the information, the deceased was crossing the road, when a speeding truck coming from Durg hit him hard. The person came under the wheels of the truck and was dragged for several meters. Due to this his body was badly mutilated and shreds were scattered on the road.
According to eyewitnesses, after the accident, the truck driver fled with the vehicle. People present at the spot immediately informed the police. Khairagarh police reached the spot and sent the body to the hospital for post-mortem. At present, the deceased has not been identified. The police is searching the surrounding CCTV footage so that the truck and its driver can be identified.
There is deep anger among the people of the area after this accident. Local people said that the terror of speeding vehicles is increasing continuously on Amlipara Durg Road. Many accidents have happened here earlier also, but no concrete steps have been taken by the administration.
