Haldwani: A very shocking case has come to light in Uttarakhand. An AIDS-infected youth deceived a healthy girl and married her. After marriage, the married woman also became HIV infected when she became pregnant. On the complaint of the victim woman, the police have registered a case under various sections against the accused husband, brother-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law and seven people of the in-laws’ side.

This entire shocking case has come to light in Vanbhulpura, Haldwani. A case of marrying a healthy girl by deceiving an HIV (AIDS) infected youth has come to light in the Vanbhulpura police station area of ​​​​Haldwani.

The matter was revealed when the wife of the infected also turned out to be HIV positive during the test at the time of delivery. The victim told the police in the complaint that on June 10, 2020, she was married to a young man living in the same area.

On 31 July 2021, she gave birth to a son. Due to delivery at home, the baby got an infection, which died after three months. It is alleged that during the illness, the in-laws did not allow the child to be treated.

During this time, many types of physical tests were done on the woman, then it was found that she had become HIV positive. On inquiry, it was found that her husband was already HIV positive, who was also undergoing treatment from a local hakim. The victim alleges that this thing was hidden from her at the time of marriage.

After the case of an HIV (AIDS) infected youth marrying a healthy girl by deceiving him in the Vanbhulpura police station area of ​​​​Haldwani came to light, many shocking things have come to light. The victim married woman told the police in the complaint that on inquiry of the matter, it was found that her husband was already HIV positive.

Who was also undergoing treatment from a local hakim. The victim alleges that this thing was hidden from her at the time of marriage. The victim said that when the case of HIV infection came to light, her in-laws started harassing her for dowry and started demanding five lakh rupees and an expensive car.

The victim alleges that when she became pregnant again in the year 2022, her sister-in-law gave her abortion pills by telling her that they were fever pills, due to which she had a miscarriage. On the night of July 3, her husband, brother-in-law, mother-in-law and sister-in-law beat her up. SO Vanbhoomipura Neeraj Bhakuni said that a case has been registered against seven people of the in-laws’ side including the victim’s husband, brother-in-law, mother-in-law, sister-in-law under the Dowry Act of the old IPC and sections 115 (2), 351 (2) and 85 of the new Indian Justice Code.
